Qualifications

• Has experience working within health and social care, ideally supporting people living with dementia.
• Hold, or is willing to work towards, a relevant Health and Social Care qualification
• Has experience supervising or leading a team
• Demonstrates excellent communication and organisational skills
• Is caring, reliable and committed to delivering person-centred care
• Understands safeguarding responsibilities and promotes best practice

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the night care team to deliver exceptional dementia care
• Ensure the dignity, independence and wellbeing of residents are always promoted
• Act as a role model, providing guidance and supervision to care staff
• Administer medication safely in line with policies and procedures
• Complete care records and documentation accurately
• Respond effectively to changing needs and emergency situations
• Promote a safe, caring and homely environment during night-time hours
