Derbyshire County Council is seeking Care Workers for the Specialist Dementia Services at Oakland Residential Community Care Centre. Various hours, permanent contract, Grade 5 salary.

You will provide compassionate, person-centred care to residents living with dementia, supporting independence and dignity through a multidisciplinary team. Training will be provided and local government benefits apply.

Qualificações

• Caring, compassionate and committed to improving lives.

• Understanding of dignity, respect and person-centred care.
• Willingness to undertake training and development.
• Experience in care is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.

• Provide high-quality person-centred care and support
• Assist individuals with personal care and daily living activities
• Promote independence, choice and dignity at all times
• Support residents to participate in meaningful activities and social opportunities
• Develop positive relationships with individuals, families and professionals
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to care planning
