Job summary

SAGA Truck & Van is a leading Mercedes-Benz distributor with a network across the United Kingdom. We are seeking a skilled vehicle technician to diagnose, service and repair Mercedes-Benz vehicles to high standards.

You will work with modern diagnostic equipment, follow strict procedures and contribute to a supportive workshop team. Key requirements include City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair and a Full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Formal automotive qualification (City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3) and clean UK driving licence.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail in repair work.
• Good communication, teamwork and following set procedures.
• Ability to use modern diagnostic tools safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain and repair vehicle problems following Mercedes-Benz guidelines.
• Service vehicles to a high standard and carry out electrical and mechanical work.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults and plan repairs.
• Complete job cards clearly and accurately and follow the repair process to completion.
• Support other technicians in the workshop as needed.
