Job summary

GXO Greenford is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our transport team in the UK. You will cover trunking and store deliveries, maintain vehicle checks, and deliver excellent service for Micheldever customers.

This full-time, permanent role offers 45 hours per week with a Sunday-Thursday night shift from 23:00. Benefits include £17.74/h plus a £332/month night premium, 20 days leave, a company pension and access to the Happi App platform.

Qualifications

• Previous experience driving Class 1 vehicles is essential.
• Full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement.
• Valid Driver Qualification and Digital Tachograph Cards.
• No more than 6 current penalty points.
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Complete trunking and store delivery routes in a safe and professional manner.
• Ensure all vehicle checks are completed before and after each shift.
• Accurately complete all relevant paperwork and comply with company procedures.
• Deliver excellent customer service while representing GXO and Micheldever.
• Adhere to all transport legislation, driver hours and working time regulations.
