Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver for a night-shift trunking role. You will move palletised goods between depots as part of a structured pallet network, focusing on safe, on-time delivery with minimal handling.

The position requires a valid UK HGV Class 1 license (Category C+E), Driver CPC, and a Digital Tachograph Card. Prior trunking or pallet network experience is advantageous, with a Monday–Friday night schedule and a PAYE framework

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid UK HGV Class 1 license with Category C+E entitlement.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification and a Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience essential.
• Experience with trunking or pallet network operations advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Transport palletised goods between depots as part of pallet network operation.
• Complete trunking runs safely and on schedule.
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks and report defects promptly.
• Follow transport regulations and health and safety requirements.
