Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd is looking for experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers for regular night shifts across the UK. The role offers up to 3 trunking runs per shift with a focus on safety and efficiency. Weekend work is optional to boost earnings, and the position is temporary with ongoing work; starting times range from 18:00 to 20:00.

The role pays £16 per hour for PAYE and up to £20 per hour via umbrella schemes. Closing date is 27 October 2026.

Qualifications

• A valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV licence.
• A current Driver CPC qualification.
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Experience operating and unloading double-decker trailers.
• Minimum 6 months’ Class 1 driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Trunking work for Night shifts.
• Up to 3 runs per shift across the UK.
• Focus on driving safety and efficient schedule.
• Start times between 18:00 and 20:00; weekend work optional.
