Job summary
William West & Sons, part of the Lockwood Group, is seeking professional HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers for night shifts from Monday to Friday. You will undertake general haulage, operate modern vehicles, deliver goods safely and professionally, and provide excellent customer service while communicating clearly with the transport team.
We offer training, Driver CPC funding, on-site parking, PPE and uniform, 20 days' annual leave plus 8 bank holidays, and a workplace pension scheme.
Qualifications
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
- Driver CPC qualification.
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Good understanding of Drivers' Hours, Tachograph, and Working Time Directive regulations.
- Reliable, punctual and flexible approach to work.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Professional attitude and commitment to safety.
Responsibilities
- General haulage work.
- Operating modern vehicles equipped with the latest technology.
- Delivering goods safely, efficiently and professionally.
- Providing excellent customer service at all times.
- Maintaining clear and timely communication with our Transport Team.
