Job summary

The Lockwood Group is seeking professional and motivated HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join our expanding team. Whether you're an experienced driver or newly qualified, we offer the training, support, and career development opportunities to help you succeed.

We operate Monday to Friday day shifts with general haulage work, modern vehicles, and a focus on safety and customer service. The role includes development opportunities and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Driver CPC qualification
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Good understanding of Drivers' Hours, Tachograph, and Working Time Directive regulations
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible approach to work

Pay & Benefits

Range based on the below:

Minimum of 44 hours per week (basic): £31,574.40 (£13.80 per hour)

Average of 55 hours per week: £39,468.00

• 44 hour basic week: £607.20 - additional hours may be required to suit business needs
• 20 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays
