Job summary

The Lockwood Group is seeking professional and motivated HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers to join our expanding team across the UK. Whether you're experienced or newly qualified, we offer training, support and career development across our UK locations.

Role involves Monday to Friday day shifts, general haulage work, and delivering goods safely with modern vehicles. The package includes 44–55 hour weeks, a pension scheme, 20 days of annual leave plus 8 bank holidays, and full PPE and uniform provision.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of Drivers' Hours, Tachograph, and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible approach to work.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Professional attitude and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

Pay & Benefits

Range based on the below:

Minimum of 44 hours per week (basic): £31,574.40 (£13.80 per hour)

Average of 55 hours per week: £39,468.00

• 44 hour basic week: £607.20 - additional hours may be required to suit business needs
• 20 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays
