Raytheon UK in Glenrothes is seeking a skilled electronics tester for night shift. You will diagnose and test complex analogue and digital assemblies, maintain test records, and support production and engineering teams to improve cost and quality of products.

Successful candidates will have an HNC in electronics and proven experience with lab equipment, with the ability to work to production schedules and communicate effectively across disciplines.

Formación

• Minimum of HNC in electronics or equivalent.
• Significant experience with testing and diagnostics of complex analogue and digital electronic assemblies down to component level.
• Proven ability to set up and utilise various types of lab equipment for manual production test & debug purposes.
• Good understanding of electronics (analogue and digital circuitry) and ability to interpret circuit diagrams.
• Ability to interpret test specifications for manual production test and debug.
• Ability to work to production schedules without compromising quality or contract requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose complex electronic assemblies down to component level and recommend corrective actions.
• Perform functional testing of electronic assemblies per contractual, quality and schedule requirements.
• Diagnose test equipment faults.
• Execute preventative maintenance and calibration of test equipment.
• Record accurate test results and provide yield and failure reports.
• Support engineering investigations and ongoing initiatives.
• Assist in improving efficiency in designated test areas.
