Job summary

Teledyne Controls, part of Teledyne UK Ltd, seeks an Electronics Repair Technician for our repair facility in Cumbernauld. You will repair electronic and mechanical components, test with standard equipment, and document findings under limited supervision.

The role requires an Electronics degree or HNC/HND with repair experience, detailed troubleshooting, and the ability to work from schematics. Shift pattern is two weeks dayshift then backshift, 37 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Degree or HNC/HND in Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Basic mechanical and electronics experience relevant to repair work.
• Experience testing electronic assemblies using standard tools.
• Ability to read schematics and follow procedures precisely.
• Proven troubleshooting skills with accuracy and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Test and troubleshoot electronic and mechanical components and instruments.
• Analyse test data and document findings in written reports.
• Read and interpret schematic drawings to identify faults.
• Perform repairs under supervision and maintain quality standards.
