Job summary

Teledyne Controls Repair Facility in Cumbernauld seeks an Electronic Technician to repair and test electronic components and instruments, ensuring reliability for aerospace applications. You will participate in testing, troubleshooting, and reporting to support aftersales service.

Ideal candidates have an Electronic Engineering degree or HNC/HND with hands-on repair experience, plus strong problem-solving and the ability to work in two-week day and backshift cycles with training provided.

Qualifications

• Electronics degree or HNC/HND with repair experience.
• Experience testing electronic assemblies and fault finding.
• Proficient with a range of hand and machine tools.

Responsibilities

• Test and troubleshoot products, equipment and circuitry; perform environmental testing.
• Analyse and interpret test data for component and system repair.
• Enter data and write reports on test and fault findings.
• Read and follow relevant schematic drawings.
