Job summary

DPD Group UK in Dudley is seeking an experienced Shift Manager to strengthen our depot operations management team. You will work closely with the Depot Management team to ensure proper resourcing of drivers, warehouse operatives and back-office staff, with emphasis on peak periods and holiday cover.

Responsibilities include achieving depot targets, coordinating with franchisees, and maintaining timely documentation while driving KPIs across Resource, Productivity, Transport and Health & Safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in depot operations management.
• Strong planning and organisational skills.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication.
• Ability to analyse data and generate actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Plan staffing for OD's, warehouse operatives and back office.
• Ensure depot targets for franchisees and driver mix are met.
• Manage holiday planning and peak resource requirements.
• Maintain documentation in line with company and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Depot Management and cross-functional teams to deliver service.
