Job summary

Health Now Complex Care in Grimsby is seeking an experienced Complex Care Support Worker to join a 2:1 care package delivered in the client’s own home. This role is a 12-hour night shift, demanding careful respiratory support and strict adherence to care plans.

The ideal candidate has tracheostomy care experience, knowledge of nebulisers, and a background in complex care. A DBS, relevant training and home-care experience would be beneficial.

Qualifications

• Experience with tracheostomy care.
• Experience with nebulisers.
• Experience with complex care.
• Confident working 12-hour night shifts.
• Reliable and responsible.
• Works well as part of a 2:1 team.
• Able to recognise and report changes in an individual's condition.

Responsibilities

• Provide tracheostomy care as part of 2:1 team.
• Administer prescribed nebulisers via tracheostomy.
• Support respiratory care and secretion management.
• Monitor breathing and oxygen saturations.
• Carry out suctioning only if trained and competent.
• Follow care and emergency plans and complete records.
