Job summary

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) is seeking a Band 7 Community Out of Hours Nursing Team Leader for a 21-hour-per-week, out-of-hours post at Withington Community Hospital in Didsbury, Manchester. The role carries 24-hour responsibility for nursing care across Trafford.

You will join a nursing management team, delivering high-quality care, developing care plans, and guiding a multidisciplinary team within the Trafford Borough.

Qualifications

• NMC registered and CSP registered are required professional registrations.
• Demonstrable clinical experience in community nursing.
• Significant experience leading a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, clinical and operational leadership within the designated team for day-to-day issues to ensure high-quality care.
• Demonstrate supervisory skills for the Night team.
• Utilise Trust’s policies, procedures and guidelines and contribute to their development.
• Demonstrate effective leadership at all times.
• Ensure multidisciplinary teamwork is applied in the area of responsibility.
• Ensure the service follows best practice and integrates changes promptly.
• Act as a change agent and participate in system changes and service redesign.
