Job summary

The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Community Staff Nurse for Out of Hours Night Service. The role is Band 5, 17.5 hours per week, night shifts 10:30pm-08:15am. You will provide nursing care to patients in their homes and clinics, assess and plan care, and work flexibly within the community teams.

The Trust offers development opportunities, supervision, mentorship and a formal induction, with emphasis on flexible working to support staff and NHS People Promise.

Qualifications

• First level Registered Nurse with NMC.
• Nursing degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience of working in a community setting.
• Venepuncture.
• Completion of preceptorship/support skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in their homes and clinic settings.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate programmes of care and manage caseload.
• Demonstrate effective communication and teamwork, with flexibility to meet service needs.
