Job summary

Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust in Gloucestershire is hiring a part-time nurse on a fixed-term basis for 12 months to work out-of-hours community nursing from 7pm to 8am, with some nights and twilight shifts. The role supports care in the community and is co-located with urgent care services, offering a supportive induction and development opportunities.

You will join a dedicated team delivering unplanned care in the evenings and overnight. A driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with NMC registration and appropriate nursing qualifications.
• Evidence of continued professional development being pursued.
• Experience in out-of-hours or community-based care is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a multi-professional preceptorship programme aligned to the National Preceptorship Framework.
• Work night shifts (10pm-8am) with some twilight shifts, over a seven-day pattern.
