Job summary

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 District Nursing Sister with CSP qualification to join the Evening and Overnight District Nursing Service for Central Manchester. You will provide autonomous nursing care in patients' homes, lead the team, and collaborate with GP practices and other services.

The role involves night shifts (22:30–08:00), clinical leadership, and coordination of the evening caseload.

Qualifications

• CSP-qualified registered nurse with Band 6 experience.
• Experience in district/community nursing and senior clinical duties.
• Ability to lead, mentor and supervise junior staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Provide autonomous, high-quality nursing care in patients' homes.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care while promoting independence.
• Provide clinical leadership and supervision to team members.
• Respond to urgent referrals and make informed clinical decisions.
• Coordinate evening/OOH caseload to ensure timely delivery of care.
