Job summary

Randstad CPE is recruiting for a Night Shift Manufacturing Technician to join a global healthcare manufacturing facility in Cramlington. You will assemble, inspect, and package single-use medical devices inside a cGMP-compliant cleanroom, using hand tools and following SOPs and drawings.

The role requires readiness for 12-hour night shifts (18:00–06:00) on a 4-on/4-off cycle, standing for long periods, and performing repetitive assembly with good manual dexterity. On-site training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or assembly, preferably in cleanroom or cGMP environments.
• Ability to stand for 12 hours and perform repetitive assembly, lifting, and carrying tasks.
• Hands-on dexterity with hand tools, good eyesight, and basic maths skills.
• Experience with assembling, inspecting and packaging medical devices is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assemble medical components inside a cleanroom following SOPs and assembly drawings.
• Use manual, electronic, and pneumatic hand tools to setup and kit raw materials on production lines.
• Perform continuous quality inspections on finished goods against strict specs.
• Accurately record cGMP data within batch production records.
• Adhere to cleanroom protocols, gowning procedures, and 5S standards.
