Job summary

Impact Recruitment is seeking Production Technicians to join a leading advanced manufacturing business in Towcester. No prior experience required as full training is provided; you will work in a cleanroom environment on a 4 on/4 off continental shift, with 12‑hour day and night cycles and two days off after each cycle.

The role focuses on hands‑on production, equipment operation, assembly, inspection and data recording, with a view to long‑term career development within high‑tech manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Reliable and technically minded individuals who take pride in producing high‑quality work.
• No previous experience as a Production Technician required; full training provided from day one.
• Candidates with manufacturing, production, engineering, assembly or cleanroom background are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture and assemble high‑precision products within a controlled cleanroom environment
• Operate specialist production and manufacturing equipment
• Follow detailed manufacturing processes, work instructions and procedures
• Carry out visual inspections of components using microscopes and inspection equipment
• Monitor production processes to ensure products meet quality standards
• Accurately record production data using internal computer systems
• Identify and report quality or production issues
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Work effectively as part of a team to achieve targets
• Comply with health, safety and cleanroom procedures
