Job summary

Mount Charles Group in Belfast is seeking an Assistant Manager for a night-time role, 40 hours per week, across 5 out of 7 nights. The role involves supervising cleaning services, ensuring inductions and training, and coordinating with cleaning teams to meet client KPI targets.

Qualifications

• Must have driving licence and valid eligibility to work in the UK.
• Experience in cleaning industry supervisory roles with multi-contract management preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills essential.
• Financial awareness and budgeting experience required.
• Health & Safety knowledge and compliance background.
• Basic reading/writing/speaking/listening skills for safety instructions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure induction completion and skills-based training for staff; identify retraining needs.
• Manage staff performance and disciplinary issues per company procedures.
• Maintain a safe working environment and adherence to safety standards.
• Respond to client queries promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate cleaning schedules and cover with cleaning teams.
• Lead weekly meetings with Operations Managers and report KPI results to client.
