Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is looking for a warm, enthusiastic Senior Care Assistant - Nights at Astbury Manor Care Home in Bracknell. You’ll support the care team to deliver high standards of personal care in a safe, caring, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.

The role involves monitoring wellbeing, updating care plans, assisting with medications, and providing staff support. DBS check and eligibility to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
• 2 years' experience in a similar care environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive attitude to supporting residents and staff.
• Flexibility to cover a range of responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor residents' wellbeing and update care plans as needs change.
• Participate in person-centred care planning and monthly evaluations.
• Support residents with medication requirements.
• Undertake staff supervisions and support staff development.
• Act as a contact point for residents, relatives, and professionals; escalate concerns.
