Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a Senior Care Assistant - Nights at Astbury Manor Care Home in Bracknell. You will work with the care team to deliver high standards of personal care in a safe, supportive environment for residents, visitors and staff.

The ideal candidate will have an NVQ 3 in care, at least 2 years’ experience in a similar setting, strong communication skills, and a compassionate, flexible approach.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar care environment.
• Good written and spoken communication.
• Positive, friendly attitude and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Monitor residents' wellbeing and update care plans as needed.
• Participate in person-centred care planning and monthly evaluations.
• Support residents with medication requirements.
• Undertake staff supervisions and support development where required.
• Act as a key contact for residents, relatives and professionals.
