Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group's Greenholme House Care Home in Burley in Wharfedale is seeking a warm, dedicated Senior Care Assistant – Nights to join its team. You will work with the care team to deliver high standards of personal care in a safe, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 in care for care homes.
• 2 years' experience in a similar care environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Positive attitude to supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
• DBS check required (cost covered by employer).

Responsibilities

• Monitor the wellbeing of residents and update care plans as needs change.
• Contribute to person-centred care planning and monthly evaluations.
• Support residents with medication requirements.
• Undertake staff supervisions and support staff development.
• Act as a main point of contact for residents, relatives and health/social care professionals.
