Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is looking for a warm, dedicated Senior Care Assistant - Nights at Acer Court Care Home in Nuthall. You will work with the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care in a safe, supportive, inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.

The role involves monitoring wellbeing, contributing to person-centred care plans, supporting medication routines, and providing supervision and development support to staff.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
• 2 years' experience in a similar care environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Positive attitude to supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
• Flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the wellbeing of residents and update care plans as needed.
• Contribute to person-centred care planning and monthly evaluations.
• Support residents with medication requirements.
• Provide staff supervision and support development.
• Act as a key contact for residents, relatives and health/social care professionals.
