Care Concern Group is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to guide a care team in delivering safe, high-quality, person-centred care for residents. You will take responsibility for shift efficiency, oversee medication administration, and monitor wellbeing, ensuring timely responses to changes and continuity of care.

You will maintain accurate records and collaborate with families and healthcare professionals to uphold clear communication.

Formación

• Must have SVQ/NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (minimum); Level 3 desirable or willingness to work towards
• Medication administration training with competency is essential
• Experience supporting or leading a care team is beneficial
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• A caring, compassionate and professional approach

As Senior Care Assistant, you will guide and support your team in delivering safe, high quality, person centred care that makes a real difference every day to our residents. You will take responsibility for the smooth running of your shift, ensuring care is well organised, consistent and delivered to a high standard. Alongside providing hands on care, you will oversee medication, monitor residents' wellbeing and respond to any changes, ensuring care remains safe and appropriate. You will maintain accurate care records and work closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals to ensure clear communication and continuity of care.

Our 40 bedded home provides residential and residential dementia care in a friendly setting just outside Rochdale. £14.35 - £14. 95 per hour

• Contracted to 44 hours per week
• Paid [PVG/DBS], pension, uniform provided
