Job summary

Riverside is seeking a Night Assistant for The Stages Academy in Middlesbrough. You will work 37.5 hours per week on a 9pm–7am rolling rota, providing safety, security, and responsive customer support during night shifts.

You’ll operate night security and fire alarm systems, perform regular checks, assist with tenancy duties, and respond to issues following Riverside policies. A willingness to lone work at night and basic IT skills are required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with vulnerable client groups.
• Ability to lone work at night.
• Basic IT skills including Microsoft Word and Excel; willingness to learn Riverside IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor night security, fire and telephone systems to ensure safety.
• Monitor health and safety and report issues as per procedure.
• Manage visitors and maintain security of premises.
