Job summary

Lanes Group PLC in Worthing is seeking a Reactive Scheduler for night shifts to plan and manage emergency wastewater work, ensuring engineers reach customers in their hour of need.

Responsibilities

• Allocate all works within the wastewater network to Field Staff within SLAs and promised to customers.
• Ensure work is allocated to meet KPI’s, customer promises and productivity targets; update customers when delays occur.
• Ensure full compliance via WNS checks and raise follow-on activities via VISTEC.
• Provide assistance, support and guidance on customer issues; escalate to Senior Scheduler as needed.
• Support development and implementation of a scheduling regime aligned with Client’s Customer Vision and Lanes Group requirements.
• Action emergency responses such as pollution and internal floods as required and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Be a role model for customer excellence and uphold service aspirations of the Contract.
• Collaborate with Field Management to maximise resources and minimise costs.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and process changes in scheduling.
• Establish positive client relationships with regular two-way communication.
• Ensure resources are utilised effectively maximizing output and reducing costs.
• Act as a customer champion and protect Lanes Group brand and reputation.
• Identify and escalate potential operational or compliance risks.
• Ensure end-to-end process compliance and remove blockers.
• Adhere to all Lanes Group policies and responsibilities.
