Night Replenishment, Supermarket Assistant

About the role
As a Supermarket Assistant, you'll help our customers experience the difference through excellent service and a passion for food. Your dedication to going the extra mile will enhance the customer's impression of the Waitrose brand, fostering trust and loyalty.
Applicants must be 18 or over due to working time regulations.
You will receive a shift premium for hours worked between 22:00 and 06:00, paid at the role's minimum pay rate.

Key Responsibilities

• Stock replenishment to keep shelves full and products correctly placed.
• Fulfilling online customer orders for delivery.
• Reducing wastage through product diligence and markdowns.
• Supporting the wider team with checkout, Click & Collect, and on-demand orders.
• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.

Essential skills/experience

• Effective communication skills for team and customer interactions.

Desirable skills/experience

• Experience in a customer-facing role.
• Interest in food and drink trends.
• Flexibility to support the branch as needed.
