Night Replenishment, Supermarket Assistant

About the role
As a Supermarket Assistant, you'll help create a positive experience for our customers by providing excellent Partner-led service and demonstrating a passion for food. Your dedication to going the extra mile will enhance the Waitrose brand reputation and foster customer loyalty. Applicants must be 18 years or over due to working time regulations.
In addition to the stated pay, a shift premium is paid for hours worked between 22:00 and 06:00, at the role's minimum pay rate.

Key Responsibilities
Your role involves a variety of shopkeeping tasks to ensure efficient operations, including:

• Stock replenishment to keep shelves full and products properly placed
• Fulfilling online customer orders for delivery
• Reducing wastage through product diligence and markdowns
• Supporting the wider shop team, including checkout, Click & Collect, and on-demand orders
• Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment

Essential skills/experience
- Effective communication skills for team collaboration and customer service

Desirable skills/experience
- Experience in a customer-facing role
- Knowledge and interest in food and drink trends
- Flexibility to support the branch as needed
