Job summary

Travelodge Cardiff M4 is looking for a Night Reception Team Member on a part-time contract. You will warmly welcome guests, check them in, and keep the lobby tidy and safe during night hours.

You may handle noise concerns and evictions as needed, while maintaining a friendly atmosphere. You also help set up the hotel for the next day, including preparing housekeeping trolleys, breakfast prep, and occasional bar service.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are helpful.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and check them in during night shifts.
• Monitor hotel corridors and address noise or issues as needed.
• Prepare housekeeping trolleys and set up for the next day.
• Assist with breakfast prep and duties.
• Occasionally serve behind the bar when required.

We have regular rewards and recognition activities such as 'FAB Fridays' and 'Housekeeping Heroes'. Your job will be welcoming the guests and checking them into the hotel, but you'll also be walking the corridors at regular intervals and you may have to deal with things like noise complaints and evictions. Your other main responsibility is setting up the hotel for the next day, so you'll be doing things like preparing the housekeeping trolleys, or prepping for breakfast service and even serving behind the bar at times
