Job summary

MEININGER Hotel Edinburgh is seeking a part-time Night Reception/Front Desk (f/m/d) to welcome guests and manage night operations. You will handle check-ins/check-outs, respond to inquiries, and help with local recommendations to ensure memorable stays.

The role requires at least 1 year in hospitality, strong English (B2), and familiarity with front office systems. Occasional F&B tasks and teamwork across departments are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in hospitality.
• Outgoing personality and ability to work in a busy environment.
• Fluent English (B2); additional languages are a plus.
• Knowledge of front office systems (ASSD, Fidelio, SIHOT).

Responsibilities

• Handle welcome and check-in/check-out to optimize occupancy.
• Respond to guest inquiries and advise on local attractions.
• Perform nightly reports, invoicing, hour registration, and reputation management.
• Assist with occasional F&B duties and support other departments.
