Job summary

The BoTree is seeking a Night Public Area Cleaner to join the Housekeeping Team. You will maintain all public areas to the highest cleanliness and presentation standards, ensuring guest comfort and a welcoming environment.

Ideal candidates are reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work well in a fast-paced luxury hospitality setting. Experience in hotel housekeeping is preferred, with flexibility to meet operational demands.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all public areas of the hotel, including corridors, lobby, washrooms, meeting spaces and back-of-house areas.
• Ensure areas are presented to the highest standards of cleanliness and appearance.
• Respond to cleaning requests and operational priorities during the shift.
• Report maintenance issues, damages or safety concerns to the appropriate department.
• Support the housekeeping team with additional cleaning duties as required.
• Replenish guest supplies and amenities in public areas.
• Follow health, safety and hygiene procedures to maintain a safe environment.
• Collaborate with other departments to support smooth hotel operations.

We are looking for a Night Public Area Cleaner to join our Housekeeping Team. This role plays an important part in ensuring that all public areas of the hotel are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest comfort. Working as part of a dedicated housekeeping team, you will help create a welcoming and immaculate environment for our guests and colleagues alike.

The Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Cleaning and maintaining all public areas of the hotel, including guest corridors, lobby areas, public washrooms, meeting spaces, and back-of-house areas.
• Ensuring all areas are presented to the highest standards of cleanliness and appearance at all times.
• Responding promptly to cleaning requests and operational priorities throughout the shift.
• Reporting any maintenance issues, damages, or health and safety concerns to the appropriate department.
• Supporting the Housekeeping team with additional cleaning duties as required.
• Replenishing guest supplies and amenities within public areas.
• Following all health, safety, and hygiene procedures to maintain a safe environment for guests and colleagues.
• Working collaboratively with other departments to support the smooth operation of the hotel.
