Job summary

De Vere Latimer Estate is seeking a Night Porter to look after our guests and the hotel between 10:30 pm and 7:00 am. You will provide warm, friendly service and respond to guest requests while keeping the property secure and well presented.

You will carry out rounds, checklists, and assist with setting up conference rooms and refreshment stations for the next day. The role involves working five nights out of seven, including weekends, and collaborating with Nights and Events colleagues to

Qualifications

• Night shifts suitability.
• Warm and friendly approach with strong customer service.
• Reliable, responsible and comfortable working as part of a smaller team at night.
• Good eye for detail and understanding of safety and security in a large hotel.
• Hospitality, Nights or customer service experience helpful, training provided.

Responsibilities

• Look after guests and the hotel between 10:30 pm and 7:00 am.
• Carry out regular checks and walk rounds to maintain cleanliness, safety and security.
• Assist with setting up conference rooms and refreshment stations for the next day.
• Work with Nights and Events colleagues to ensure smooth operations during weddings and events.
• Shift pattern: 10:30 pm–7:00 am, 5 nights out of 7 including weekends on a rota.
