Job summary

De Vere Beaumont Estate in Old Windsor is seeking a Night Porter to support guests overnight from 10.30pm to 7am, delivering friendly service and responding to guest requests.

You will perform rounds, maintain safety and cleanliness standards, assist with setting up rooms and events, and work with Nights and Events colleagues to ensure smooth operations during weddings and late nights.

Are you looking for a Nights role where you can use your customer service skills and help look after our guests and Hotel?

We’re looking for a Night Porter to join the team at De Vere Beaumont Estate in Old Windsor.

As a Night Porter with De Vere you’ll look after our guests and the Hotel between the hours of 10.30pm and 7am, providing a warm and helpful service and responding to any requests that arise during your shift.

You’ll carry out regular checks and walk rounds of the property, making sure our standards of cleanliness, safety and security are maintained. You may also help set up conference and meeting rooms and refreshment stations, getting everything ready for our guests the following day.

Our hotels can remain busy into the early hours when we have weddings and events taking place, so you’ll work alongside our Nights and Events colleagues to help make sure everything runs smoothly.

This role involves working between the hours of 10.30pm and 7am, 5 nights out of 7 each week to include weekends on a rota basis.

What we’re looking for from a Night Porter

• Someone who is comfortable working night shifts and feels this working pattern suits their lifestyle.
• A warm and friendly approach, with good customer service skills and the confidence to help our guests during the night.
• Someone who is reliable, responsible and comfortable working as part of a smaller team at night.
• A good eye for detail and an understanding of the importance of safety and security within a large Hotel.
• Previous hospitality, Nights or customer service experience would be helpful, although it’s not essential as full training will be provided.
