Malmaison & Hotel Du Vin Birmingham is seeking a Night Porter to oversee hotel operations from sundown to sunrise. The role is hands-on, supporting guest expectations and maintaining brand standards across public areas and night-time duties.

You will assist guests with luggage, carry out nightly health and safety checks, and help prepare meeting spaces for the next day. Experience in a similar role and night shifts is essential; flexibility across evenings and weekends is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role is beneficial.
• Experience of night shift work is essential.
• You will be organised and an excellent communicator.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the hotel from sundown to sunrise and manage guest expectations.
• Keep public areas immaculate and prepare meeting spaces for the next day.
• Assist guests with luggage and respond to enquiries.
• Carry out nightly Health and Safety audits.
• Progress to Night Supervisory or Assistant Night Management roles.
