Job summary

Malmaison & Hotel Du Vin in Cambridge is seeking a Night Porter to oversee overnight hotel operations and guest experience. You will manage the Food & Beverage responsibilities during the night, welcome guests, and ensure public areas are pristine, while preparing meeting spaces for the following day.

Applicants should be organised, excellent communicators, and prepared to work night shifts; experience in similar roles and willingness to work evenings/weekends are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role is beneficial; night shift experience is essential.
• Strong communication and organisational skills are required.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hotel operations from sundown to sunrise.
• Manage Food & Beverage during the night shift.
• Welcome guests and ensure public areas are immaculate.
• Clean public areas and prepare meeting spaces for the next day.
• Assist guests with luggage and respond to inquiries.
• Carry out nightly Health & Safety audits.
