Job summary

THE NICI Collection is seeking a reliable Night Porter to be the face of the hotel overnight, ensuring safety and delivering excellent guest service. You will support the Night Manager, assist guests, and carry out a range of operational tasks to prepare the property for the day ahead.

Responsibilities include security patrols, guest arrivals/departures, luggage assistance, meeting room setup, overnight cleaning, and collaboration with other departments to maintain high standards of service and

• Guest-focused with strong customer service expectations.
• Reliable and able to work independently.
• Calm under pressure and able to solve problems.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Previous hospitality or customer-facing experience is desirable but not essential.
• Willing to work overnight shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.

• Carry out regular security patrols of the hotel and report any issues promptly.
• Support with guest arrivals, departures, and luggage assistance where required.

• Complete overnight cleaning and preparation tasks to ensure the hotel is ready for the morning.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve any issues where possible.
• Assist with emergency procedures and ensure health and safety standards are maintained at all times.
• Work closely with the Night Manager and other departments to ensure the smooth running of the hotel.

The Role

We are looking for a reliable and guest-focused Night Porter to join our team.

As the face of the hotel overnight, you will play an important role in ensuring the safety and security of our guests, colleagues, and property while delivering exceptional customer service. You will support the Night Manager with the smooth running of the hotel, assist guests with their requests, and carry out a range of operational tasks to ensure the hotel is ready for the day ahead.
