Job summary

Crazy Bear Stadhampton is seeking a reliable Night Porter to support the overnight operation. You’ll help look after guests, perform safety and security checks and prepare the hotel for the morning shift.

This part-time role requires a minimum of two night shifts per week and offers opportunities to progress within the team. You’ll gain hands-on responsibilities during the quiet overnight hours.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel, reception, concierge, security or night-working experience is useful.
• Ability to work overnight and a minimum of two nights per week.
• Calm, friendly and professional with guests.
• Good awareness of safety and security.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Honesty, discretion and good judgement.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Assisting guests with overnight questions and requests.

We’re looking for a reliable Night Porter to support the overnight operation at Crazy Bear Stadhampton. You’ll help look after our guests, complete safety and security checks and prepare the hotel for the following morning.

This is a part-time position working a minimum of two nights per week.

• Welcoming late arrivals and supporting early departures

What we’re looking for

• Previous hotel, reception, concierge, security or night-working experience is useful
• Someone dependable who is comfortable working overnight
• The ability to follow instructions and complete tasks without constant supervision
• A calm, friendly and professional manner with guests
• Good awareness of safety and security
• Strong attention to detail
• Clear written and verbal communication
• Confidence using computers and basic hotel systems
• Honesty, discretion and good judgement
• Availability to work a minimum of two nights per week
• Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays
• The right to work in the UK

You don’t need to be in charge of the whole hotel. You do need to be useful when something happens at 3am.
