Job summary

Crazy Bear Stadhampton is seeking a bartender who can pull a proper pint, navigate a wine list and mix a good cocktail when the order lands. You’ll work behind the bar and on the floor, taking orders, serving drinks and looking after guests with warm, natural hospitality.

There’s no script here—just high standards, presentation and personality. If you know your drinks and enjoy lively service, we should talk.

Qualifications

• Around two years’ experience in a busy bar, hotel, restaurant or pub
• Confidence serving draught beer, wine, spirits and cocktails
• A good understanding of bar service and drinks
• Someone comfortable working both behind the bar and on the floor
• A sharp eye for presentation and detail
• Warm, natural customer service
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays
• The right to work in the UK

Responsibilities

• Pouring pints, wine, spirits and everything in between
• Making classic and Crazy Bear cocktails
• Taking orders and serving guests at the bar and on the floor
• Looking after the bar and surrounding guest areas
• Recommending and upselling drinks without making it awkward
• Keeping the bar clean, stocked and ready for service
• Staying calm and keeping standards high when things get busy
• Helping create the kind of atmosphere people want to come back to

Bartender - Crazy Bear Stadhampton

We’re looking for someone who can pull a proper pint, knows their way around a wine list and can make a good cocktail when the order lands.

You’ll work behind the bar and out on the floor—taking orders, serving drinks and looking after guests without making a performance of it.

No scripts. No forced smiles. Just warm service, well-poured drinks and a bit of personality.

Where you’ll be working

Crazy Bear Stadhampton is Country.

Set in the Oxfordshire countryside, it’s our original home—with signature bedrooms, a 16th-century pub, an al fresco terrace and spaces for weddings and events.

The pace is more relaxed than Town, but there’s still plenty going on: proper pints and good wine in the pub, cocktails by the fire pit and events that can take over the whole place.
