Job summary

Crazy Bear Stadhampton is seeking a Kitchen Porter to keep our kitchen clean, organised and ready for service. You’ll work alongside the chefs in a busy environment where everyone gets stuck in and no one is too important to carry a tray.

Experience is useful, but it isn’t essential. We’ll show you what you need to know. On-target earnings up to £13 per hour, plus 28 days of annual leave including bank holidays and several staff discounts and progression opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Washing pans, plates, dishes and kitchen equipment.
• Keeping the wash-up area clean and organised.
• Cleaning floors, surfaces and kitchen areas.
• Sanitising food-preparation surfaces.
• Following daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
• Removing waste and recycling safely.
• Making sure clean equipment is ready when the chefs need it.
• Using cleaning products and equipment correctly.
• Helping with basic food preparation when required.
• Supporting the wider kitchen team during busy services.

We’re looking for a Kitchen Porter to keep our kitchen clean, organised and ready for service. You’ll work alongside the chefs in a busy environment where everyone gets stuck in and no one is too important to carry a tray.

Crazy Bear Stadhampton is Country.

Set in the Oxfordshire countryside, it’s our original home—with signature bedrooms, a 16th-century pub, an al fresco terrace and spaces for weddings and events.

The pace is more relaxed than Town, but there’s still plenty going on: proper pints and good wine in the pub, cocktails by the fire pit and events that can take over the whole place.
