Job summary

Greene King is seeking a Night Porter to ensure the safety and security of guests and staff during the night shift. You will join a fun, inclusive team and have opportunities to grow your skills and experience.

You will handle late check-ins, maintain high standards of service, and support functions and events while contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with a memorable experience on every visit.
• Be the first point of contact for late arrivals and walk-ins.
• Prioritize guest and business safety and security at all times.
• In emergencies, evacuate guests and staff safely and efficiently.
• Set up function rooms and meeting spaces.
• Clean public areas of the hotel and function spaces.
• Answer calls and resolve guest issues to ensure a pleasant stay.

Job Description

As a Night Porter, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of hotel guests, staff, and the hotel at night. You’ll be joining a fun and inclusive team, where you can grow and strengthen your skills and experience.

Qualifications

What you'll do as a Night Porter...

• Provide customers with a heartfelt and memorable experience each and every time they visit.
• Be the first point of contact for late arrival check‑ins and walk‑ins.
• Ensure guest and business safety and security are the top priority at all times.
• In the event of a fire, safely and efficiently evacuate all guests and team members from the business.
• Set up function roomsand meeting rooms.
• Clean some public areas of the hotel and function spaces.
• Answer telephone enquiries and resolve customer complaints to ensure every guest enjoys their stay.
