Night Porter at House of George W. Davies

We are seeking a passionate Night Porter to join our team at the House of George W. Davies Hotel, located in the beautiful town of Broadway in the Cotswolds.

About the role:

1. This is a full-time position, approximately 40 hours per week, working 5 nights a week from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am.
2. You will provide a warm welcome to guests, anticipating their needs and ensuring they feel at home, whether they are first-time visitors or returning guests.
3. Responsibilities include assisting at the bar, cleaning, and delivering room service food orders, among other duties.
4. You should remain calm under pressure, enjoy making guests feel welcome, and develop a thorough knowledge of our hotel services.
5. Previous experience as a Night Porter in a hotel is required; familiarity with hotel operational systems is advantageous.
6. You will be responsible for setting up, cleaning, and maintaining areas to a high standard, as well as ensuring the safety and security of the hotel and guests through regular security walks.
7. Building rapport with guests and maintaining a professional appearance are essential.
8. A friendly, genuine manner and a pride in your appearance are important qualities.
