Job summary

Compass Community is seeking a Night Parent and Child Support Worker for a 5-bedroom Residential Family Assessment Centre in Cottingham. You will work with a multi-disciplinary team on waking duty, monitoring safety and CCTV overnight to support Parent & Child placements.

This 40-hour week across 7 days involves nights from 10pm to 8am, with flexibility to cover shifts. The role demands safeguarding expertise, strong communication with families, and commitment to OFSTED standards.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience in a Children's Residential, Early Years or Children's Social Care setting.
• Good safeguarding knowledge and experience working with complex families.
• Ability to communicate effectively in complex situations with families.

Responsibilities

• Provide night support to Parent & Child placements on waking duty, monitor safety and CCTV.
• Work within a multi-disciplinary team in a residential setting.
• Support to family and staff in line with OFSTED regulations.
