Job summary

Compass Fostering in Cottingham is seeking a dedicated Night Family Support Worker to support Parent & Child placements in a residential assessment unit. This role involves working within a multi-disciplinary team and requires strong safeguarding awareness and sensitivity.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience in Children’s Residential or Social Care settings.
• Good knowledge of safeguarding and working with complex families.
• Ability to communicate effectively in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Parent & Child placements in a residential setting.
• Monitor safety of families and CCTV during night shifts.
• Work within a multi-disciplinary team to achieve positive outcomes.

Skills

Experience working in a Children’s Residential setting
