Job summary

Student Roost is seeking a night-time front-line assistant to support residents from 8pm to 8am, averaging 36 hours per week. This fixed-term maternity cover role involves taking payments, handling enquiries, and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for students living on-site.

You'll engage with residents, manage late-night viewings and events, and liaise with agents while maintaining accurate records and following established procedures. DBS checks apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles preferred.
• Ability to learn new systems quickly and use MS Office.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Confident handling enquiries, payments, and records.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for residents between 8pm and 8am.
• Assist with on-site events, late-night viewings, and parcel collection.
• Take payments, follow processes, and keep accurate records.
• Liaise with overseas agents and support residents with issues or welfare concerns.
• Support maintenance reporting, safety, and overall resident experience.

Salary: £ 26,114.40

Term: 12 months Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover)

Hours: Average of 36 hours per week, working 3 shifts per week between 8pm to 8am.
