Job summary

Home Group is seeking a dedicated night worker to help keep residents safe and buildings secure while ensuring a welcoming environment for neighbours. You will patrol premises, monitor CCTV, greet visitors, coordinate repairs or cleaning, and provide first-line support when the wider team is unavailable.

The role offers a 4 nights on/4 nights off pattern with hours from 8:15pm to 7:20am. Temporary (9 months), full-time (37.5 hpw) with Enhanced DBS paid by us.

Typical shift

• Walk around the building checking CCTV, fire doors and communal areas
• Greeting customers and visitors, picking up repairs or cleaning
• The first line of support for our customers when our wider team or their own support network aren’t around to help!
• Monitor and respond to incidents calmly, quickly and fairly
• Work with colleagues and partners to manage anti-social behaviour

Job details

• This role operates on a 4 nights on, 4 nights off shift pattern, with working hours from 8:15pm to 7:20am.
• Temporary (9 months), full time (37.5 hpw)
• Although you’ll work nights / lone work, we do get together regularly in the daytime for training and team meetings. You'll be supported by our out-of-hours (OOH) team when required.
• Able to use technology to monitor CCTV, update records and communicate with colleagues
• You’ll need an Enhanced DBS check done (we pay for it)
