Job summary

Asda Stores Ltd is seeking a Lead Night Manager for our Kingswood store. You will lead the night team to ensure everything runs smoothly while the rest of the world sleeps, delivering the best availability and high shop floor standards across all departments.

This 45-hour per week role involves owning night planning and execution, working a rolling rota with 4 nights over 7 including weekends, and keeping the store safe and compliant through the night shift.

Qualifications

• Experience managing teams in a large-format retail grocery environment, ideally overnight.
• Ability to make decisions independently with a hands-on attitude.
• Confidence in developing large teams and managing change.
• Strong customer service focus.
• Flexibility to work night shifts including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead the night team to ensure operations run through the night and disruptions are minimised.
• Deliver best availability and high shop floor standards across all departments.
• Keep the store safe and compliant during night hours.
• Plan and execute night trading activity and manage waste/returns to minimise loss.
