Job summary

Fuel Recruitment is partnering with a leading infra-structure and technology services organisation to recruit a Head of Operations for its London-based team. The role covers strategic and operational leadership of maintenance services and installation projects within a critical transport environment.

Reporting to the Account Director, you will oversee night-time operations, ensuring safe, compliant delivery while driving performance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large, multi-disciplinary operational teams.
• Delivery of projects across technology services environments.
• IOSH Managing Safely qualification.

Responsibilities

• Lead night-time operational teams with clear direction and accountability.
• Ensure adherence to contractual, quality, health & safety, and compliance standards.
• Monitor performance against SLAs, KPIs, and work-bank requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement through data analysis and efficiency initiatives.
• Optimise workforce deployment while maintaining fatigue management and safety.
• Provide senior oversight during night shifts and manage escalations.
