Loom Talent is recruiting a Night Transport First Line Manager in Southall to lead a busy logistics operation, ensuring safety, service and regulatory compliance while steering a team of 30+ drivers and admin staff.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience within transport/logistics or home delivery.
• Experience managing a team of 30+ colleagues.
• Experience with absence, performance and disciplinary processes.
• Strong knowledge of transport compliance and working time regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day transport operation, ensuring service, safety and compliance.
• Manage and support a team of 30+ drivers and administration colleagues.
• Oversee dispatch, route performance, fleet availability and operational recovery.
• Monitor KPIs and take action to maintain service levels.
• Lead shift handovers and ensure effective communication.
• Identify operational risks and drive continuous improvement.
• Resolve issues with internal teams and stakeholders.
